Satisfied patient of his for many years. He is usually 10 to 20 minutes behind, which I consider pretty good for appointments at the end of the day. Tries not to rush you despite the fact a doctor has to see a certain number of patients in a day to make money with the pathetically low amount OHIP pays for an office visit. Refers for tests or to specialists when appropriate. As for the previous comment about one of the staff members, give them a break ! It's a busy job and they have to take care of multiple tasks simultaneously. I have never found them to be other than professional and polite.

Dr Berns is interested in patient experience and is accommodating it with his treatment. Listens to the patient. One of reception personnel is not very pleasant

Dr Berns is very helpful and thorough. His staff however, is not very friendly and not helpful at times. I understand there is a shortage of good doctors and their offices are very busy, but the staff does not need to be miserable.

Dr. Berns always listens carefully to my problem and really hears me if a treatment is not working for me. He also likes it that I come armed with some facts of my own - not at all threatened by my own research into my issues (as some doctors seem to be).
