Having been a patient of Dr. Hamilton's as well as my family, we have received nothing but the best care and attention that can be given even with the high demand for doctors in the area. In my field of work, I have contact with many health care professionals and I have always said and will continue to tell people that he is one of the best doctors in this area. I've been a patient of Dr. Hamilton for 30 years now and have seen his attention to his patients decrease drastically over that time. His focus is not on the practice but on the sleep clinic and working at the hospital ($$). For the last several years they will not let you book an appointment, if you're lucky enough to have someone answer the phone. You're put on a "waiting list", but then rarely/never receive a call back. This is a common theme among other patients I've talked to. If this was a store or service, we as consumers would not use it, we would go else where, it's that bad. If he's not interested in continuing his practice, he should retire and let someone else have it.

Dr Hamilton was such a great/caring doctor,I think this has declined drastically with his health. Gail his receptionist is very rude and the one reason we left. I once called in to fill a prescription for my husband and was told that the sun doesn't rise and set on him. Obviously a woman who doesn't have a loved one! Imagine being told that when we pay her salary. Very, very disappointing to be spoken to in that manner!

I have been seeing Dr. Hamilton for about 33 years. He was and probably still is the most caring and efficient doctor I have been to. But I now cannot get an appointment to see him. I have an ongoing medical problem that should be addressed at least every 3 months. But no, cannot get in to see him. Three times in the last month I have tried to get referrals to specialists I need to see for a chronic rash and allergies. Still waiting for a call for an appointment to get the referral. I even stopped to leave the phone numbers of doctors for referral, but was told I had to make appointment. I have had to go hospital emergency twice in the last 4 weeks to get something to control the rash.

Most thorough and caring doctor that I have ever been to. Terrific office staff. Only wish they used email for appointment requests and bookings. Phone line very busy and so am I!

Dr. Hamilton is not a good doctor anymore. Over the past several years he has failed to give me the medical attention I've needed and I have a few serious medical conditions that he neglected. His secretary Gail is incredibly rude, disrespectful and insensitive. She doesn't answer the phones and when she does it takes several months to get an appointment. His nurse Laura used to be nice, but has changed drastically over the years and has now become very disrespectful and rude as well. I will NEVER recommend this doctor to anyone and have recently switched doctors because I no longer felt safe going into the office.
