I had the unfortunate experience of being treated by Dr. McDonald at Emerg. I had not slept in 4 days because of excruciating pain. She was so miserable and uncaring. It was shocking. She needs to go back to school and learn another trade.

I recommend you move to another town instead of having to endure an emergency consult with Dr. McDonald in this hospital. Not a fragrance-free or even fragrance sensitive hospital.,so if you arrive with a lung injury you will leave with a worse one. Dr. McDonald is the most rude, arrogant, incompetent and disrespectful physician I have met in 40 years. She did not examine the parts of my body which were injured. I had to demand a chest X-Ray. The RX she wrote requires more paperwork before the pharmacy will fill it. If you require an emergency respirologist or ENT it's too bad as there aren't any. After all, what do you expect "this is only a small hospital"! to quote Dr. McDonald. I don't know how this physician is allowed to practice medicine!!!

I was taken by ambulance to Belleville Hospital in suffer pain and left in the hall for hours not one nurse stopped to see how I was doing and me screaming in pain I stopped one nurse and ask how much longer she said I have no idea and when I got in to see this so called Dr McDonald she said take your top off and I could not move and offered no help I was given two shots of morphine to have chest ex ray ,when she read the results she said only bruised muscle and my family doctor phoned me early next morning it was a fractured rib she should not be reading ex rays and she is very rude. This happened two years ago and if she is on duty I will never see her will go to another hospital

i will never see this Dr. McDonald again she is very disrespectful to patients. She thought it to be very amuzing that we had a very long wait time in ER. She did not accurately read my xray results and sent me home in dire pain. She told me to return the next day for a CT scan but did not give proper information on what I was to do. She was the most rude Dr I have ever seen, no bed=side manner what so ever!!! Never again!!!
