It is almost impossible to get an appointment with my family doctor. When I do, it's usually cancelled the day before. I often go without my medication because Dr. Dye cannot be bothered to see me and when she does it's usually a very quick, rushed appointment with no answers to any of my questions. TERRIBLE. Everyone else who works in the clinic seem amazing. It's not the wonderful receptionist's fault. I will be searching for a new doctor as relying on mine clearly isn't getting anywhere and waiting hours in the busy walk-in clinic is really inconvenient.

This woman is ill informed. She told me a specific procedure is not done in Canada - I went home an Googled and found it has been done in Canada for the past 15 yrs! Continued to tell me I was wrong about the things I had researched on my own, as she was not much help with them. Then when I said I disagreed with her, she told me I was misunderstanding what she was saying - like I was too stupid to understand anything medical. She told me not to worry about my BP suddenly spiking and staying high- that sometimes happens, she said. She would rather write scripts then resolve the underlying issues. I am currently looking for a new Dr.

I don't even know where to start with this woman. I mean don't get me wrong, I'll give credit where credits due. She is kind and soft spoken most of the time. But she is definitely the worst doctor I have ever experienced. First of all she never does an actual "Check-Up" meaning check your height, weight, blood pressure, temperature, mouth, ears, reflexes, heart, breathing... She walks in the room and goes straight to her computer and stares at it the entire time. My mother has high blood pressure and is on medication for it and this doctor NEVER checked it. She actually said "NO" to my mother one time when she asked if she could take her blood pressure. She said "No I won't be doing that today." She sympathizes with you, and makes you feel like your being cared for when really your not. She'll say things like, "because of your age" or "you are fine". I personally had 4 different reasons to see her on one of my appointments and I told the receptionist what they were when I booked the appointment and made sure to be CLEAR when I said that there is more than 1 thing I am concerned with... When I went in to see the doctor I told her that I had a couple concerns and began to speak about the first one when she told me "I don't have time to help you with all of them today, there's only a 15 minute appointment." LIKE EXCUSE ME?? I've gotten so fed up with this doctor, she should be anything but a doctor as she is constantly out to lunch anyways.... and I don't actually mean out to eat some lunch.

The best Dr. I have had. Always on top of my exams, making sure I keep up with my blood work and physical. Makes sure that I am referred to the right doctor if it is something outside of her knowledge. Never had to wait more than 1/2 hour. I have been seeing Dr. Dye since she came to Bowmanville and will not change to another doctor. So happy that I found her.

My mother-in-law has been a patient of Dr. Dye for at least five years. She has health issues and should see the doctor on a monthly basis, I have been trying to get an appointment for literally weeks, have been trying to get Dr. Dye to return my calls NOT HAPPENED, have asked her to renue perscriptions, jumped through numerous hoops, she just is not interested in her patients, disgusting!!!!!!!

Gives me vague unhelpful answers, "you're getting older", computer always seems to be down, so some things are not recorded, always seems scattered, stressed & not fully present
