Dr. Johnston a very good doctor. On the other hand his staff, Angie is the most rude , unprofessional , person in his office. Her manners and professionalism are just very poor and she does not know how to talk to people or perform as a receptionist . She does not answer the phone ,she is very abrupt and rude .

Nothing bad to say about the doctor himself, but he has an oriental lady running his office (and possibly acting as self-appointed triage expert) who is an absolute train wreck. The secret to getting in to see the doctor in a timely fashion is to go in early (around 10 am) and get a number for when the doctor arrives at noon. I did this last time, and even though I was #2 to be seen, when I arrived at noon, she said she will try to 'fit me in somewhere'. I said, no, I am number two, you will have the doctor see me second. I waited two hours and 4 patients ahead of me before I was seen. Although i like the doctor, and the onsite pharmacologist is tops, I will be looking for a 'real' doctor that does not spend half of his time seeing walk-in patients. I just need a higher level of care. And his oriental 'helper' has to go, she is terrible and I am sure the cause of all the signage warning people not to be rude to the staff.

The most disorganised surgery on the planet.This doctor never arrives on time.Its only 1 doctor and he does so called appointments and walk in.He cannot handle the huge amount of people coming in.Average wait time here is 4 hours amd even if you have an appointment good luck with that.What really winds me up is the oriental lady there who was a former receptionist and now seems to be part nurse ? I am sure she has zero medical background and seems to be offering tri age service to patients ?? The staff must receive daily abuse as the surgery is plastered with notice saying dont scream at staff.When you finally go in doctor comes in a for a few seconds and then goes to the other waiting patient in the next room i am appalled by this and also the fees that are charged for doc reports etc this place must be reported to the medical council of Ontario

Very knowledgeable doctor. Was able to identify contributing factor to my condition right away. It's a walk in clinic.

Dr. E Johnston is a very good doctor, but he is very unorganized, as is his staff. There are extremely long wait times at his office, even when there is hardly any people In his waiting room. I just spent 2 hours waiting for a scheduled appointment, only to find out his staff had not contacted the hospital I had been to for a procedure, that had adverse effects on me, whichI had advised the nurse of the week before,when, while I made the appointment. I now have to go back next week again to hopefully find out why I adverse effects to a routine procedure. I'm hoping I don't have another 2 hour wait, if not longer. If you have nothing else to do all day, going to see this doctor for help, is OK, but make sure you bring food and drink and something to do to keep you occupied,. You will be there for most of a day!, He will look after you, once you finally get in to see him.......Good Luck, you'll need it!

Very rude and arrogant. Disorganized has attitude and does not communicate well. I was his patient but quickly changed. My elderly folks still see him and he is rude and speaks down to them. The office staff is unprofessional and moody and they do not treat people well. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. He needs to be assessed by the office of physicians and surgeons. When I mention his name for my folks at hospitals that other medical professionals do not speak well of him and wonder why he is still in practice. They need to close this guy down.

Dr Johnson is a very good doctor. His staff is not so good. Their professional conduct and people skills are not the greatest. They are rude and unorganized. When going to the front window ,they don't respect your privacy and ask question , so the whole waiting hear you.

Extremely knowledgable and caring. Recognized a serious rare blood disorder previously ignored by previous doctors. Very busy man but it is worth the wait to see him.

Dr J: Have cried every day since he left our City. This man would try everything in his power to make you well.When he walked in the room you felt your case was his most important...glad to see his punctuality ratings up so high..living were you work probably helps.lol doug petepiece williamstown ps..u can't go wrong with this Doc!!!

I use to live in Cornwall Ontario and my family doctor was Dr. Johnston E.F., my observation for Dr. Johnston was that he has a dynamic personality and he is a highly professional, intelligent,dedicated,caring. I wish him all the best in his life.
