Staff in the office very disrespectful on the phone and not welcoming when you go in. He doesn't seem to ever be thorough, only allowed to speak of one symptom even if others could be related and does not get a good sense of a full history. Doesn't really ever do a full assessment and not helpful. Always end up having lab work missed and end up in emerge or a walk-in clinic. In the process of switching physicians.

I was a high maintenance patient with type 1 diabetes and colitis and asthma and endometriosis... had many issues and he basically didnt have time for me and my issues. I ended up leaving after almost 20 years of being a patient.

Drops the ball on monitoring patients he prescribes long term psychotropic to. Also prefers to book himself heavily, and thus forces appointments to be brief so he can get to his next densely booked appointment. When I wanted to switch to a different antidepressant because the one he prescribed was no longer working (based on symptoms and side effects he should have been asking about but never did [the extent of his checking was asking "Everything fine?"]), there was no discussion of medication options (I was simply prescribed a newer, possibly ill-suited drug and told that's it), and notably he's never made an effort in treating my depression outside of medication prescriptions. There's a host of issues with Dr. Verburg, and those are just a few.
