Dr. Toyonaga is wonderful but I'm not impressed with my experience today. I waited for an appointment (called last week) and showed up at my scheduled apt time only to be advised that he was now working in urgent care and I could either go join the urgent care lineup (out the door), or rebook. I had already taken the morning off work for my "scheduled appointment" driven to the clinic and paid for parking. The very professional response from the receptionist was "things happen". I'll try that line with my own corporate clients sometime. I would have happily gone down to urgent care to see him had I been given priority but, no. I was advised I'd have to wait in line with everyone else. Really?!? I would have been 3 hours! I have my cell phone with me 24/7 and there was no message or missed call, so there was no attempt made whatsoever to reach me to advise of the change! Rebook whomever you can but those you don't bother to advise should be taken in to see him at their regularly scheduled time, regardless of whether or not he's in urgent care. I've been extremely inconvenienced and am quite upset. The doctor shortage in Canada shouldn't exempt doctors or their administration staff from professional business practises. Really not happy.

Dr. Toyonaga is always very deligent and helpful. He takes the time to speak to you and cares what you are saying. He never makes me wait more than 10 minutes and has always been wonderful with my small children concerns.

Dr. Toyonaga is a great doctor who explains everything so we understand, and doesn't hesitate to send you for tests when needed. I never have to wait more than 10 minutes before seeing him. He's a wonderfull doctor!
