Dr. Mohatarem to start was 50 minutes late. Second, she had the worse bedside manner out of every doctor I have been with. When I told her my problem and told her I wanted a biopsy she laughed in my face. She said but this is what you have, and I requested again.. a biopsy, because as much as I respect her education, I prefer results over opinion so I know I am taking medication for the right thing. She also told me "the issue is you".. very rudely. It took a fight to get a simple biopsy. I think it's important that I take control of the health care that I get, especially when it's something that has been going on for over a year. She also disrespected my body, I didn't feel comfortable at all. She was basically forcing me to take down my pants, not taking into consideration how I might feel about that, and not to mention there was nothing down there for her to look at. It felt very invasive. Then after she finally agreed to do a biopsy of my skin, she had me on the bed and said.. "no one can do anything about your anxiety" after I had told her I was having anxiety last year but I haven't had it at all this year so I didn't think it was the issue (looking for a relationship to what I was experiencing). And when I reacted to the pain from where she put the needle in, she mocked me. I left feeling disrespected and violated, I felt as though she had no care for what I was going through. With her it's all patient in patient out, write the prescription because we all know.. more prescriptions more money. And because I was making a specific request pertaining to my health care that she didn't want to do (she actually said she didn't want to do it), she became very rude and argumentative. I will never go to this doctor again.

Not a good listener. Easily dismisses complaints and just makes it difficult to want to share anything for fear of sounding dumb. This doctor prevented me from seeking medical care for awhile and it could have had disastrous results. Fortunately, i found another compasionate doctor that sent me for tests that saved my life.

She's big on exercise and prompts it on every visit but it does not fix everything. I need a new doctor.

By far worst doctor I've been to. Didn't take my depression and eating disorder seriously, simply told me to "study more at school and exercise". Yeah you don't say that to someone struggling with their weight. So happy I switched doctors away from this condescending lady.

she is a great doctor, very helpful. the good thing with her is she gives time for proper checkup, and her advise not to take antibiotics if your simptons are only viral.

I'm not really sure what other reviewers are referring to with regards to 'criticism of normal lifestyles', but I've never had any sort of cultural issues. Dr. Mohatarem has always seemed incredibly well informed and even has a mischievous sense of humour, so I've never had any issues relating. Perhaps the other comments reflect a certain bias and are more indicative of their own cultural intolerances?

VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH HER OPINION OF OTHER PEOPLE'S LIFE STYLES. SHE SEEMED TO PRESENT HERSELF WELL, BUT PURELY FOR HER OWN CULTURE, WHICH WAS A PROBLEM FOR US !!!!!
