Spent 30 seconds reading referring DR's notes, then asked "why did your family MD sent you here? Referral says I have NO family MD. What did he read? Then he says "I don't do elbows". But referral was for shoulder and arm pain. His solution was to refer me to his associate. But he wouldn't give me a copy of the referral letter. I have to travel 400 kms (x2) to come back and get referral letter from his office a week later. Why couldn't he give me copy at the time he wrote it? "I don't do things that way". You decide. Is he in this for the $$ or for compassion. And what's his level of reading comprehension?

Doctor Getahun had done an ankle fusion on my left foot. He was very professional in his assessment of the problem I was having. He relieved most of the pain prior to the operation and I have had little to no pain since ,do to the operation. Beside the fact that he is a excellent Surgeon ,he is a very nice person also. Dr. Getahun's secretary was also very kind and helpful.
