Dr. Ko repeatedly dismissed my persistent tendinitis, carpel tunnel and numbness in both of my arms, plus intense eczema all over my body. If I tried to suggest something that might help me or might help diagnose the cause, he told me "to go be my own doctor". His ego is hard to deal with - Doctors misdiagnose patients all the time, so I don't understand the god complex. Doctor Ko was literally telling me the pain I was experiencing was essentially nothing. He threw his arms up in the air and shrugged. I am a musician - my career is playing guitar. He didn't seem to care that it was my livelihood at stake, considering these issues were interfering with my ability to make money and support myself. I had to take time off of work because the pain was becoming so severe, and I was unable to play guitar as much as my job required. I am back at work now, but still struggling with the same issues. I started recording our meetings because he was being so negligent and disrespectful with my care, and I have him on record yelling at me and calling me a hypochondriac when I could barely close my hands without pain or numbness. This seems very dismissive and unfair, because If he had actually looked at my patient history he would see I rarely ever visited him in all the years he's been my doctor. Dr. Ko showed no concern or sympathy for my health issues, and the specialist I was referred to in Toronto (who also happened to know Dr. Ko) remarked that Dr. Ko was dropping the ball in finding a solution. Once the specialist confirmed what I was already suspecting of Dr. Ko, and supported how I was feeling, I realized it was time to change doctors and find someone who will work with me to find a solution and take time with me rather than rushing me out of his office and calling me names. My arms are still causing me pain, soreness, and numbness, and I still have a severe rash all over my body, and Dr. Ko essentially did nothing to help. I am not sure if it's because I am one of his younger patients that he showed so little respect or concern, but he certainly dismissed my lived experience like no other doctor I've been to before. Maybe he would have taken me more seriously if I had brought my parents along. I would not recommend this doctor to any person out there who is struggling with potential auto immune issues or skin issues. I think his ego gets in the way of him helping his patients and being a good doctor, because if he doesn't know the solution, then there must not be one. He also literally had to look everything up on the internet every time I went to visit him, because he didn't seem to know much about eczema or joint pain.

Dr. Kho has been our family doctor since arriving in Canada 11 years ago. He is always caring, and goes above and beyond. He has a holistic not just medical approach. Our family would not go anywhere else.

My family and I have followed Dr Kho to a number of different clinics over the years and will continue to do so as he is by far the best family doctor you could ask for. Yes he does tend to run late, only because he takes the time to really delve into the issues and concerns of his patients. We are truly blessed to have found him.

Dr. Kho is a superb physician and diagnostician. Myhusband and I have been going to him for many years now. We over toBurlington and happily mKe the drive to his office. Every issue I have ever had has been thoroughly investigated in atimely manner. He always takes his time with me. Yes, he does run late, but i made a choice that his time is more important to me rather than rushing me through a visit to get out the door.

These comments must be from staff because Dr. Kho has never been on time...in fact I have waited up to 2 hours for him many times! He has mis-diagnosed myself and my children on several occasions and takes no responsibility for the mistakes made. These high quality comments must be coming from his staff. I strongly suggest a different Dr.
