I have never had the opportunity to personally meet with Dr. Leddy, but can say my first impression was not a great one. As my family doctor is on leave, Dr. Leddy is filling in for her. I had booked an appointment for my son's four year old vaccination shots two weeks in advance to ensure I got the latest appointment possible. Being a mother of two young children who has to commute a great distance to work, I am not able to make mid afternoon appointments. I was informed my appointment time was for 3:45pm. When I arrived with my child on the day of at 3:35pm, I was informed by the receptionist that the appointment was for 3:30pm and that I was late and that Dr. Leddy will not see us. I explained that we had arrived early for our appointment, took time off work because there were no later times available, and that it was for shots needed for school. My understanding is that I had booked for the latest possible appointment two weeks in advance, why Dr. Leddy could not see us, even if the appointment time was for 3:30pm? It was five minutes passed and there would not have been any patients waiting. It would have been understandable if I would have kept patients waiting and caused a domino effect. Lack of empathy and compassion was evident. It is no wonder people get frustrated with the health care system and doctors. Patients could be waiting anywhere up to a half an hour after their appointment time to see a doctor.

Those complaining look at yourself in the mirror..I have been with Dr.Leddy for 20 years and never felt this from her ever. Dr.Leddy is very caring, thorough and empathetic. I dont think I can even come close to finding anyone as good as she is.

Dr. Leddy is completely uncaring. She doesn't want to fill out forms for referrals to rehab even after hospital stay. Is always asking, "why do I have to do this? Can't someone else. My daughter has been misdiagnosed by Dr. Leddy for 9 years. She was told she had seizures because she has severe anxiety. Now it has come out because she almost died falling down the stairs, that she has a genetic heart condition. Leddy never bothered to look beyond an EEG test.

Ongoing Yeast Infections, monthly for 6 months now. She told me there is nothing we can do and that they can be triggered if I worry about them.. basically telling me it's all in my head. Told me vitamins won't help and to basically keep taking Difulcan 1 every time I get an infection.

Not willing to work with my ongoing issues. Suggested there was nothing wrong with me and I should go on anti-depressants, Would not listen....2 years and I had to keep reminding her of the issues that were not resolved.

Have had her misdiagnose, or write a prescription for an incorrect amount for both of my children. Have also had to remind her of my own current conditions when attempting to prescribe me medications. She has even told my child that the symptoms they were having were all in their head - only to be referred to a specialist after an x-ray confirmed diagnosis. Bedside manner is not great either. Feel like you are a number, not a patient.

Dr Leddyhas been our family doctor for over 20 yrs. She is the most dedicated and caring person we have known. She is up to date with technology and her diagnosis is perfect. She has kept our family healthy.Thank you Dr Leddy.
