I am pleased to say that Dr Cattan saved my life not once both twice. Once in 1998 with a combination of medication and therapy and in 2013 when he noticed a health problem. Dr Cattan sent me for tests and referred me to a specialist. This specialist now tells me and I quote "if you miss taking these my meds you will die". I am extremely thankful to have him as a doctor and I would recommend him anytime. But you do have to do what he says and things don't happen overnight. Good luck to you that reads this.

this psychiatrist is not a good representative of the psychiatry profession. He did not read the clinical findings of reputable psychiatrists and physicians and instead tried to find ways and means to contradict the patient. He made preconceived assumptions from the insurance company notes and did not demonstrate objective clinical assessment skills. He is clearly performing assessments on behalf of insurance companies to make money from insurance companies at the expense of real patients. He gets paid over $3000.00 to sit down for less than 2 hours to argue with patients and in the end will write nonsense to please the insurance company. If you get a referral to go and see him; do not attend; change doctors immediately

strong accent, had to repeat and have him repeat many times, found him to assume things and then had to clarify, instead of just letting me explain myself, not a good experience for me

His secretary Coleen is superb. Very understanding and caring. I don't really get Dr. Cattan. His methods are just through pills and pills alone. Why do I go back again and again. He is a nice man, but I just don't get him. Also his accent is strong therefore,it is somewhat hard to understand him.
