Dr Chiu Has treated me since 2001 and has been very instrumental in diagnosing two other cancers one in 2007 and 2012 I would stake my life with him my life is worth mor3 than a few parking charges

Dr. Chiu prolongs treatment for conditions he feels are not a priority. I am speaking on behalf of a relative. The cost of parking is huge, but Dr. Chiu does not consider the time or money, also anxiety created due to his requesting multiple visits which should be taken care of in one visit. You see Chiu, then he tells you to come back for treatment a day or so later??? What is he thinking.

I have been a patient of Dr Chiu for the past 20 years of which he has been involved with the fact that I am AT3. He was there when I had my mastectomy 15 years ago and has been advised of my INR levels throughout the years from my gp. Three years ago I had a subdural bilateral hematoma and was rushed to St Mikes for suregery as Lakeridge Health Oshawa was not equiped for this emergency surgery. If they had of been equiped then I would of had Dr Chiu as my doctor again. Now I am in need of his expetise and he is retiring at the end of the year and I have been told he is not accepting any ney patients. I do not consider my self a new patient after having him in the past. Very dissapointed in this outcome. All I need is for him to monitor my blood for preparation of the surgery, during the surgery and then ween me back on my coumadin which would ben complete long before the end of the year which is when he is retiring. I can' explain how dissapointed I am and feel left out in the cold worrying about what will happen now.
