Broke my ankle very bad which required surgery. In less than 3 months I am walking quite well. Staff at the Queensway Carleton hospital where excellent however there is a problem with the health system that need fixing. The day I broke my ankle we waited from 11:00 am to late afternoon to see a surgeon and then until 8 at night to have surgery to be sent home. Back the next day for surgery and that was a very good experience. Very happy 👍😁

I had a total knee replacement in 2011 and I have never felt better. Thanks to Dr. Charles and his great skill I am walking with ease today. He and his staff have my greatest respect and I thank you so much.

Dr. CHarles did knee replacements on both my knees. You'd never know I had knee replacements. Thanks to Dr. Charles I feel great.

He requires a new receptionist staff. Phone always busy and when not bush, no one picks up. And of course, answering machine does NOT take messages. Extremely difficult to get a hold of.

The Medical Secretary hours are quite impossible. Answering calls only between 10:00-12:00 and 13:00-15:00, answering machine does not permit you to leave a message. I have been awaiting an appointment scheduling since MAY and no one has called to confirm a date for surgery... I love the doctor, receptionist is kind but her hours of unavailability make it impossible to reach or leave a message. I know I am not the only patient aggravated by this.

I HAD A TOTAL KNEE REPLACEMENT RT IN MARCH OF 2004 i RETURNED IN AUGUST OF THE SAME YEAR FOR A MANIPULATION OF THE KNEE WHICH GAVE ME A FEW MORE DEGREES OF BEND. THE TOTAL EXPERIENCE WAS MARVELOUS,

Compassionate, honest, brilliant, gifted. In an emergency situation Dr. Charles guided me with honesty and compassion through an emotional and frightening time. He pulled my 92 yr old mother through hip surgery and lived up to all of the positive comments I received from QCH staff. Thank you Dr. Charles, from my heart.

Excellent surgeon and doctor. I had a spinal and watched the whole medial meniscectomy (on my knee). He explained everything and fixed me up great. Highly recommended!
