Very good Doctor - I'm 70+ and have had about 10 doctors over my lifetime - he is particularly adept at diagnosing skin growths, trends and red flags revealed by blood tests and he knows when to refer complex issues to specialists. Other family members have him as their doctor as well and share this positive assessment. A bit of humility is probably in order for those who judge him harshly, eg re knowledge, "really???, it's as if they set medical school exams (and I have taken a few) - no one knows everything - a more balanced assessment would be more credible.

Sorry to see the negative reports. Not sure what they expected. This is a large shared space practice. Dr. Blake may carry too many patients but anyone fortunate enough to be his patient will have a very caring and compassionate physician. He sums up what a General Physician should be. When I have needed to see him he will see me. I have been bumped down the list for others with a more urgent need. That is the way it should be. He will not fail me or give an uninformed diagnosis

He is overall a good doctor seems distracted at times but he is a genuinely concerned doctor. He can be late and the office phone seems always to be busy.

Good caring doctor, but don't tell him you have arthritis just because you think it is, I did and it wasn't, so it delayed proper diagnosis & treatment. Trust your doctor.
