It has been my good fortune to have had Dr. Wilkinson as my family doctor for 34 years. She is without a doubt a truly superb doctor!!

Dr. Wilkinson has been my doctor since I came to Ottawa in 1983. She is a wonderful doctor - so caring, compassionate, thorough, and knowledgeable. I can't say enough about her. I dread the day she retires because I'll never find another doctor like her.

Susan has been my family doctor for over 30 years. Susan was my obstetrician on both my pregnancies and delivered my son, Kyle, and daughter, Emily. Susan's care and attention to me during those times made the experiences extremely rewarding. Since then Susan has continued to provide to me and now my husband, Glenn, the very best care and advice in all aspects of our health. One of the many things that I love about Susan is how she is always on top of every concern and makes referrals to see specialists when necessary, always with a very quick turn around time. Yes, it's true that the wait time is generally quite long, but this is because once my name is called, I know I'm going to get Susan's undivided attention and there is never any rush to get me out and the next patient in. Susan is truly dedicated to her patients. Oh, and a thank you to Sherri who works the front desk, Sherri is amazing and quite knowledgeable. I consider myself very lucky to have such a wonderful doctor. I often kid with her that she can never retire!

I have gone to Dr. Wilkinson for some 25 Years and she took my Husband as a Patient 20 Years ago,I am so happy that I found her, she is a very competent and caring Fam. Doctor, I just hope she does not retire too soon:-)I agree with the comments if the wait is a bit longer some times, it's because she takes the time with each Patient and yes sometimes there are Emergency cases as well, For us it's more important to have a DR. we can trust and feel comfortable with!!

I have been seeing Dr. Wilkinson for over 20 years and she is wonderful in every way! The reason she seems to always run behind on appointment times is because she is (1) carrying a double patient load and (2) gives every patient the time they need. Just plan accordingly because she is worth the wait!

Whatever time you have an app't, expect to be there at least 2-3 hours. I have had a hard time calling in to get a renewal on a prescription and to get a referral without having to go in for an app't. When you are sick, that is not always convenient.

Dr. Sue is by far one of the best doctors around - open to non traditional treatments and regular meds - always very knowledgeable, compassionate, and professional. She takes proper time to listen and diagnose so that is why things run a tad slow in the waiting room but it is so worth it! Receptionist Sherrie is outstanding as well.
