Dr. Stewart performed emergency bowel surgery on my MOther at the Port Perry hospital in May 2012. From the beginning of my Mother's arrival, through the surgical consultation, the surgery itself and her follow-up care the Staff of the hospital were stellar. The ability of Dr. Stewart to explain everything that was going on to my anxious, senior Mother was exceptional as was his care in follow-up. He visited her , encouraged her, instituted a couple of interventions to ensure everything was on tract and "made her day" in the final follow-up appointment when he said "You look wonderful!". It was also apparent that Dr. Stewart was very respectful of all of the professionals handling my Mother's case and the respect was returned. The staff all spoke very highly about him. Thank you Dr. Stewart.
