Dr. Curran was the anesthetist for my last surgery. I have had many surgeries in the past and have just accepted that the anesthetic would make me ill. While preparing me for surgery Dr. Curran asked about past experiences with surgery and promised to try different drugs so that my experience would not be a bad one this time. For the first time in over a dozen surgeries I was not sick after waking. I recovered faster than in the past and for the first time actually remember being in the recovery room. Thank you Dr. Curran. I now know that anesthetic does not have to make me sick.
