My husband was recently taken to Norfolk General Hospital Emergency Dept. by ambulance, for severe hypoglycemia along with complications from a fall. Dr. Rosati was the attending physician. The ER was particularly busy that night, however, Dr. Rosati made an effort to see my husband as soon as he possibly could. We found him to be very friendly, knowledgeable and caring. Dr. Rosati took the time with my husband to make sure he was aware of his medical history even though he was extremely busy. He ordered the necessary tests to ensure that my husband was well enough to leave the hospital. Not once, did he ever make us feel like he was rushing us. We need more ER doctors like him!

I had my first experience with Dr. Rosati this past weekend at the Emergency Department of the Norfolk General Hospital. I had taken my 6 year old son for care. After ordering a chest x-ray, and determining pnuemonia, we were sent home with a prescription and a promise that someone would call today with the radiologists findings from my sons x-ray. To be honest, I didn't really expect a call, knowing how busy staff at the hospital are. To my surprise, I DID recieve a call this afternoon. Not from a nurse, aide or a volunteer, but from Dr. Rosati himself. I was speechless. My own family doctor hasn't ever called me on her own. His kindness and concern for my son was fantastic. I hope that if anyone needs to make a trip to the ER, that Dr. Rosati is the physician on staff. I am one impressed mamma!
