He has been my psychiatrist for 30+ years. He is highly professional, extremely well-educated/knowledgeable and intelligent, is very caring, compassionate, extremely humble, wise, highly skilled. Throughout these years, my body has been very resistant to most medications....has remained loyal, committed and extremely patient. He does talk therapy and prescribes/closely oversees your progress! He is NOT a "pill pusher" and will NOT "up your dosage" if HE does not feel it is necessary. (even on occasions where I have requested it) My husband and I have a huge amount of respect for him and feel extremely fortunate and grateful to have him as MY psychiatrist. When he eventually decides to retire, it will definitely be a huge loss to the mental health facility that he works for and his present clients who are so priviledged to have him.

I am so grateful to have him! He has been my doctor since 1999 and has carried from a dark time in life to the very productive life today. We are all at the mercy of our own biochemistry. We should all be so lucky to have someone as caring, wise and skilled as Dr. Kumar.
