I do not have a family Dr.so I have seen Dr. Lax on several occasions and he has always been extremely kind and caring to me. I had to wait for him but as he is running the walk in clinic by himself in addition to his private practice this can be expected.

Went to see Dr. Lax for a medication I needed as I lost my Nurse Practitioner last Sept. It was med that had to be changed to a higher dosage due to my health condition. All he complained about was he was the only dr. For the walk in clinic & it was no place for me to be. He said to find a doctor or another nurse practitioner, he said he woul give me the med with 2 repeats & don't go back there. I told him prior to giving me the script " You are a doctor & I need melds & you cannot turn me away so you best be picking up a pen & writing me a script, he did so. He was rude to me , made me feel like someone from another plant. If you hate your job that much or cannot learn some bedside manners then quit

I went in recently to see Doctor Lax about getting a prescription for birth control as i have no family docotr. I waited for about 4 hours to see him for a total of 4 minutes.. not even. When I finally met up with Doc Lax, all he can complain about was working at the clinic and how it is still going as noone wants to work there he said to me. He also said if people wanted more services here for doctors, to fundraise ourselves. I was shocked at hearing the things that was coming out of his mouth. He was absolutely rude with me. Rushing his patients also. He didnt care about anything and anyone. I highly recommend NOT to see him... absoultely rude and makes you feel really crappy.

Tends to run late often but is very busy and thorough with his patients so it is understandable.
