Saw him at the Niagara Falls hospital. His staff are amazing and friendly. Him, however, not so much. He had already assumed what is wrong with me before even asking me questions. He had also already decided what to PRESCRIBE me before I even walked in the room. When I tried to ask questions, he would give a blunt answer (like he didn't even listen) and then change the subject back to the prescription. He used scare tactics to try to scare me into the pill. "I'm a scientist" and "I'm a neurosurgeon" are a couple of his favourite sayings. He also stressed that if his colleagues found out I had seen him, they would agree with him. I have gone for a second opinion anyway and let me tell you, this was not the case.

Saw Dr.Nikneshan in niagara falls first week of December and he already decided what he thought was wrong with me(which isn't what MRI stated). After waiting a month and a half to get results from MRI's through his office, I spoke with the receptionist who firmly told me "I wasn't to call them, they would call me". I then went back to my GP who gave me the results. My GP office contacted his office and he agreed based upon MRI results I needed a referral. So if this was so why couldn't he have contacted me over a month ago allowing my referral to get underway instead it took me and my GP to contact him. While in his office I did not have his undivided attention, nor did he like it when I had questions for him. So sad. It is nice to see that some people have had a positive experience with him but mine has been terrible from the get go.

If you are Dr. Davar Nikneshan patient, consider yourself extremely lucky. An outstanding neurologist, intelligent, caring, just a great person. Trust me he is a born doctor. Beware of those patients who gave their negative ratings some of them have a huge chip on their shoulder. Probably we need also patient reviews in order to be FAIR ! it's a two-way street. Anyway, I am lucky to have met him.

I found Dr. Nikneshan to be friendly, very competent and professional. He answered questions clearly, proffered an opinion clearly, and he even had a sense of humour. I would recommend him highly.

An arrogant man who is very rude to people in his office. My father tried to tell him something but he was too interested in his phone to listen. Once he dismisses you, Get out of the office as he is done with you. Would not refer or attend his office again.

Met at the Neurology centre (Trillium). Found him patient, thorough, easy to understand his explanations, and open to questions (and I had a lot of them. Some I asked twice/repeated.) He was most professional and found his manner "excellent'. Would whole heartily recommend! (not sure why a few others had neg to say??) He was great. Very Knowledgeable and easy to communicate with too!

I saw the doctor in Emergency Room and he was very helpful. He explained about some tests that he wanted done. This was done within 3 days of my leaving the hospital over the weekend. I was pleased with how the doctor was with us and he explained almost every thing to us. I would to have him as my doctor but I have to call him and see if he is taking on new patients.

Starting off an early morning, he showed up an hour after we were told to be there. He already had his mind made about what was wrong with me. When we asked more about what was wrong he told me google it. He was also extremely arrogant. When I asked questions he just laughed. I understand he went to medical school and earned his degree but maybe he should keep in mind that not all of his patients have. Here's a tip, maybe he should work on his body language because rolling your eyes and crossing your arms makes you look conceited and defensive. Doctors are supposed to be helpful, not egotistical.
