MY EXPERIENCE WITH DR. NORM FURTADO, HIS NURSE ANNE AND RECEPTIONIST AMANDA HAS BEEN NOTHING SHORT OF PAR EXCELLENT. WHEN THE CLINIC FIRST OPENED, I WONDERED ABOUT THEM SUCCEEDING IN SUCH A SMALL TOWN WITH A VERY MUCH ELDERLY COMMUNITY. THE MUSIC (TECHNO) AND TOO LOUD WAS THE WORK OF THE RECEPTIONIST I AM SURE. THE NURSE WHO CAN BE ABRUPT AND AT TIMES THEY COULD BOTH BE RUDE AND TOO INTRUSIVE. WELL, I MENTIONED SOME OF THE ISSUES TO DOC NORM AND WITHIN WEEKS THE MUSIC HAD TURNED DOWN AND TO MUSIC THAT WAS MORE ACCEPTABLE TO THE ELDERLY CROWD. THE ABRUTNESS AND THE RUDENESS ALSO SEEMS TO HAVE CHANGED INTO GENUINE CARING AND CONCERN FOR THE PATIENTS. VERY IMPRESSIVE DOC! NOW THE CLINIC IS REPRESENTATIVE OF THE EXCELLENT CARE ONE RECIEVES WHEN IN WITH THE DOC. FULL POINTS NOW FOR ALL!!

I had the good fortune of meeting Dr Fortado in Feb of 08 when I developed a career ending injury... He was a resident physician at the time and along with his great bedside manner and excellent skills at diagnosis of my ulnar nerve entrapment he helped me through a very difficult time. Not only did he prescribe the right medication for me he also referred me to the right professionals the help me deal with a live long injury and I am very grateful that he was there at time. If it wasn't for Dr Furtado I'm not sure I would have been able to deal with this very painful injury. He generally feels your pain and concern sets you at ease. He is one of the best for sure. This is why I have rated him 5 out 5. As for his staff I have yet to meet but knowing Dr Furtado they would be disserving of 5 star rating as well.... Now I wish he accepting new patients as I could use his help again!
