The Young's have been my Dr's now for 10 years. I have had nothing but the best care. Ian is my main Dr but I have seen Dana occasionally as well. Ian was a pharmacist prior to being a Dr so he has a greater knowledge of which drugs to prescribe than other Dr's. He accepted my daughter and 3 kids as patients when he wasn't accepting new patients. I just hope they stay here in Barrie.

These are doctors who should not be practicing medicine. They both are dismissive, rude, untruthful and not very thorough. They charge you for everything, for example if you've been in appointment and requested updates for prescriptions, he doesn't do it then charges you for over the phone pharmacy renewal. Neither of these doctors have the best interest of their patients. Experienced very troubling behaviour from Dr. Ian Young affecting patient wellness.

I am a patient of the docs. I find him very professional. He is very caring and if he can't help, generally he will send me to someone who can. I believe him to be the better of the two.Would recommend him to anyone.

I find Dr. Ian Young pleasant, professional, efficient and a skilled medical practitioner. I have been a patient for 3 years and I'm extremely satisfied with this family practice overall. In a perfect world the only option I wish the practice offered is “email appointment making”, where you could document your health issue and or requests for Rx renewals. Requests could be be reviewed by the office Admin person then they could determine available opening and emailed the reply back for confirmation. I feel this option could benefit the practice as well as numerous patients.

Dr. Young as his staff are the best I have seen in my 66 years. Juanita his nurse deserves an award for her thoughtful caring professionalism. Dr. Young stopped in the hospital parking lot where my wife was pushing me in a wheelchair to inquire how I was doing. He even took on my daughters family as patients when requested even though I knew they didn't want to take new patients. I am so happy knowing our health is being cared for by these healt5h care professionals.

Incorrect forms and procedures that waste time, and expensive extra charges. Not a good choice for those suffering from substance abuse, even those in long time recovery who are doing well and want to do better. Frustrated patient with no where else to go.
