Friendly, attentive. Never rushes thru examinations. Always asks if anything else is troubling you besides what brought you in.

As a doctor treating you in his office, he is great, excellent bedside manners, understanding, explains what he can. As a patent waiting for test results, not very prompt or at least the staff tell you he has not reviewed the results yet. I have been waiting 3 days to get a report on results that were received 3 days ago. When you explain to the staff that you are in pain & would really appreciate a quick response I am told, he will get to them when he can. Frustrated!

Dr. Khatami is great and so are his staff! Even if he feels there is no serious issue, he will do whatever needed (Order ultrasounds etc) to make sure you feel comfortable with a diagnosis. The only downside is the phone service this building has setup. It is brutal to try to get through sometimes and the hours to call can sometimes be impossible.

The only complaint I have is that it is hard to get through to the office if you call, I usually drop in to make the appointment. On the other hand, when I have dropped in to see if he could take my daughter asap he always has. I feel so lucky that we have Dr. Khatami as our doctor.

It is difficult at times to reach reception but they are always courteous and helpeful. I am very pleased with Dr. Khatami and his staff. I don't ever feel rushed.

After 30 some years of seeing the same "old school" doctor I was left in the predicament of no longer having a doctor when I found out mine was retiring. It took me 1 year to find Dr. Khatami and I was thankful at having done so. My first official visit was conducted with professionalism, efficiency and extreme care. It was the first time I was ever asked how I was feeling and whether I had concerns. I found Dr. Khatami to be concerned, caring and invested in what I was saying. This is what we, as patients, hope for; a doctor who actually cares and LISTENS to what we have to say.
