Dr Poonja misdiagnose my rectal cancer as hemorrhoids,when I Insisted on colonoscopy (4 years latter) my cancer was already stage 3, thanks to dr Poonjs lack of knowledge I had to have surgery and now I am wearing stoma bag. If you need nice person to talk to Dr Poonja is good choice but if you need help in serious situation run away from Dr Poonja

Dr. Poonja agreed to take my mother in law on as a patient. She was without a doctor for many years since moving to Barrie and was suffering from dementia. No doctor would touch her as someone with her condition required more care than the average person. He has been a fantastic doctor to deal with. Yes his practice is rather full and sometimes it can take a while to get in to see him, but that is standard across the board in Barrie due to the shortage of doctors here. I am very impressed with him and his desire to truly want to make a difference.

Dr. Poonja and Mike Holmes are two of the most thorough medical practioners I have ever had. They take the time to explain everything and I am lucky to have them to go to when I am ill.

Ive been a new patient for about a year and a half. I STILL havent been able to even make an appointment. I just end up going to the walk in downstairs. If you call you will always get an annoying message telling you they are away from their desk and are NOT taking messages. Worst practice Ive ever dealt with

I have been a patient of Dr Poonja since I was a baby. He is a great Dr. however the problem is anytime you book an appointment you never get to see him, its always someone different and I find when there are to many hands in the pot the ball gets dropped. I feel that a lot of issues are over looked because no one knows who is taking care of them anymore. Its a shame really, because Dr Poonja has always been caring I feel that the way of the family practice is gone with the wind and we are all numbers now.

Dr. Poonja has been a breath of fresh air, a Dr. that understands time is critical and waiting hours is not really an option. great bedside manner. Definitely highly recommended.

Dr. Poonja is genuine and very knowledgeable. He is also great at getting referrals and has amazing connections. HE saved my husbands life and has been so incredible with his after care. He has also been wonderful with our preemie twins and is available to answer any of our needs. Not many doctors like him these days. His nurses are amazing, warm and caring and so gentle and wonderful with the babies. The boys love seeing Nurse Angela and she has been great at caring for their needs and helping this tired and stressful mom get through all of their aches and pains when sick. They are also great at working with my hesitations of some medical txs (ie/vaccines)

Having Dr. Poonja as our family Doctor has been a Godsend.He is caring enough to have actually accepted to see my child as a walkin on more than one occasion. The entire staff is more than capable and nurse Shiela's endless compassion and quick response has without a doubt saved my life and the life of my child. I will forever refer to her as our angel on earth.

Great Doctor but limited availability in Barrie. Staff is also excellent and can often see someone else instead if willing. Nurse Sheila is wonderful as are other staff.
