I cannot comment on Dr. Shrives abilities in gastroenterology, but if you need to see a cardiologist, please ask your doctor to refer you to a real cardiologist. Or at least an internist who doesn't just use cardiac tests (Holter monitors, stress tests, echos) as a way to make more money. His knowledge, and that of his associate Dr. Ali Shickh, of interpreting these tests is very lacking. Dr. Shrives is cold and dishonest. If you've had a cardiac workup done at the Bowmanville Cardiology Services with either of these doctors, please ask your doctor for a second opinion. I am knowledgeable in medicine and echocardiography and this is why I know how bad things are there. No one is over seeing these doctors. The "poor" rating for the staff is for the echocardiographer with initials KM, the other staff were great.
