My elderly mother was referred to him for a Cataract consultation. He spent 2 to 3 minutes to check her eyes and then mention that she needs a Laser cataract procedure, then pushed a form for her to sign. Did not ask us if you have any questions or if you have any concerns. After reading the form we knew that she signed to acknowledge that the doctor has explained the nature of the procedure and the expected benefits, risks and side effects. explained the alternative courses of action and the likely consequences of not having the procedure and has answered all of our questions to our satisfaction. None of that was done. We left disappointed and did not want him to do the procedure. We felt honesty was missing in his practice. If you go there, take your time and ask all the questions and don't be intimidated by the number of patients sitting in the waiting room.
