Dr Holmes almost cost me my life. He misdiagnosed me, then over prescribed a powerful medication. 5 years later, and I'm still dealing with the pain and multi systemic damage that was caused. I would NOT recommend Dr Holmes. Maybe he means well, but he just does not have the knowledge required to care for people.

I was thrilled to finally find a doctor who was so attentive and open to alternative forms of treatment. I was looking forward to be under his medical care for the long haul. Unfortunately, all my hopes were dashed when Dr. Holmes left his practice in Brantford, without notifying his patients. It was only in conversation with a friend who also happened to be one of his patients that I found out. When I called the office to confirm it, I was in shock. How unprofessional and inconsiderate! And now, after tracking him down to have MY medical records transferred to my present GP, his present office in Hamilton informed me that I had to pay $50.00 to release them. Talk about adding insult to injury!

Having had the benefit of excellent care from my previous physician, I was extremely disappointed with Dr. Holmes on many levels. He did not remember me on my second visit, nor on my final visit 19 months later. For all of my visits, I was kept waiting an inordinate amount of time, sometimes missing my drive home via accessible bus. He failed to follow through on important tests, resulting in my developing gangrene and requiring two emergency surgeries. I found him to be entirely dismissive and judgmental. I learned today, when I called for an appointment, that he is no longer practising in my City. I think I am fortunate to not have to encounter this unprofessional doctor again.

Dr. Holmes listened and gave sound, informed, detailed advice. He is clearly knowledgeable and didn't just quote back the ABC's of medical school textbooks.

Really listens attentively, & knows alot about almost anything you can think of! Doesn't just prescribe meds unless REALLY needed . Has a much more Wholistic approach to health than most others. A trustworthy man with a great spirit...

On my first visit to see Dr.Holmes I was pleasantly suprised to finally have a doctor that I believe truly cares about the health of his patients as well as the reputation of those in his field. He is very understanding and patient which is hard to find in anyone these days that deals with the public at large. I find that Dr. Holmes remembers his patients and is non judgemental. I am thankful that I am part of his practice and would follow his practice anywhere as his quality of care has been fantastic.
