Just had knee replacement Dec 2019. Great surgeon. Very knowledgeable. Having the other knee done in May. Dr. hickey cares for his patients. Managing very well since the surgery. Dr. hickey always prompt for appointments. Very good bedside manner.

Very professional, caring and offer the best options so you can decide what you want for your recovery. Very friendly, courteous and caring staffs. Thankful I was there for my ankle injury . Fully recommended.

Very good doctor! Excellent job on my broken arm. Can’t even see the sticking after surgery. Direct and to the point, during consultation.

Knew what he was doing during the surgery, but openly admitted to taking the rod, staples, and stitches out too soon. Does not care about the infections or anything else that has happened. Gets angry and annoyed when dealing with me outside of the operating room. Purely only cares about doing the surgery, nothing else.

I am very pleased with his treatment, he is kind considerate and gives excellent care. Would highly recommend him and would not hesitate to have him as my surgeon again. His staff has always been professional and courteous.

Exceptionally arrogant! While he offered 3 or 4 alternatives for me, he was rude and annoyed when I selected an option that was not his ideal! His response was childish and condescending. Shameful behaviour. Unfortunately Brantford has few options for his type of surgery. I will continue to manage my pain as a preferred option to him

Dr Hickey takes the time to address any concerns or questions. Very caring, wonderful bedside manner. Put me at ease about having a total hip replacement done. Appointments at the office are punctual, at the clinic the wait may be a bit longer. Great staff, very helpful.
