Dr. Woolfrey operated on my leg after a motorcycle accident left it in 2 separate pieces. He did an excellent job and explained the healing process in simple lay-mans terms as I recovered for a year. The only complaint is not with him but with the Fracture Clinic at BGH. You can expect to wait a couple hrs minimum on most appointment days. Not Dr. Woolfrey's fault

Yesterday was a short wait for my visit. Less than 20 mins. The one appt. I had was about 2-3 hours behind but that was because there were emergenices that had arisen and they take priority. No one can control that situation. Dr. Woofrey is outstanding in his field, answers all my questions in simple English. He is very dedicated, busy Dr. The staff are very pleasant and nice. I didn't know that Dr. Woolfrey has a new secretary. The other lady retired. I would highly recommend him. My case was happenstance after I was in the E/R and the Dr. on call said I need to see a specialist and I was referred to Dr. Woolfrey. God has given him a very special gift.

i have had both knees replaced and i am walking agian with a slight limp in leg. He did a great job.

Was his patient for arthroscopic surgical treatment of my right knee. Provided mmediate relief from the identified symptoms. Chose the option of a local anaesthetic and watched the entire procedure on screen. I am very confident in and satisfied with this doctor.

One of the most pro-patient doctors I have ever met along with great bedside manner. Communication skills are great and he wants from our health care system what benefits patients most and is willing to fight for that.

the wait time in the ortho clinic on dr woolfey days is much much too long. something must be done asap or people will be going elsewhere or suffering in silence at home. Mr Hornell and his executive (chris eivers etc) should spend a day in the clinic to understand why people are getting so upset over wait times to see the doctor/ Many times i have waited 4-6 hours for my appointment as have many others. Totally, totally unnecessary. dr woolfrey is a very good and caring doctor but something must be done asap to alleviate tie wait problem. we can;t afford to lose him or the other good orthopedics we have now. cathy borda
