This post is about the front desk staff only: Wow - Don't normally do this but just had a terrible experience from Shipyards Medical Arts Centre. After calling to politely give a heads up on an incoming fax, I was met with the worst customer service I have experienced in a while from the receptionist. Although I understand a bad day happens, I quickly found a site which has multiple complaints about the front desk, where I read a comment stating "Unacceptable customer service with rude and unprofessional front desk/reception" which was nothing but the truth in my experience. The receptionist was the opposite of helpful and utterly rude from the beginning of the phone call when inquiring for assistance with prescriptions. She cut me off several times instructing me to find help at a different location without waiting to listen to even a full sentence on my end. Again, working as a server for years as well as in a call centre where people call when something with their pay is incorrect, can understand a bad day. Should not go without saying I feel ageism was also at play here as I felt belittled for being recognized as a young 20-year-old woman. This was completely inappropriate and unacceptable.

Nice man. Probably has all the knowledge but often too quick to write a prescription. Sluffs off illness comparing to himself too often.
