Very hard to get appointments that are closer than 2-3 months as well as extremely hard to get through office by phone it takes hours on average and hard to get medication refills even when pharmacy faxes him 2-3 times. As a senior I don't need this stress and can't get a new doctor because I have this one.

Staff suck big time. 2 girls work there and you would not know it. I have never seen anything like this. It is a shame!

when i call to make an appointment all i ever get is a message saying you answer the phone monday through Thursday but not on Friday.The problem is that you VERY SELDOM answer the phone and you make it clear that we cannot leave a message. can you tell me what is the point of having a family Doctor, if you can never get through to his office to make an appointment.VERY VERY FRUSTRATING. might just as well go directly to a family clinic. It is my understanding that the government pays each DR. a yearly payment for each of his clients. is that why you insist on us going only to the pitt St. clinic? Please give me a reason for continueing to REMAIN a patient of Dr. COOK.

Never answers phones or returns calls. No hospital privileges so he can not see patients who end up in the hospital - useless for elderly patients. Would not return calls to family who were dealing with elderly parents with memory and cognitive issues.

I have been waiting for 1 month to get an appointment for very chronic pain. My doctor sent him a faxe on January 19 and am still waiting I agree with the others that they never answer the phone. Really what is up with that. I am personally going to the office on Monday and find out why they never answer the phone. Maybe this is why we opt to go to Ottawa. Pretty sad state of affairs when one is almost bed ridden due to chronic pain in the lower back.

Dr. Cook is a great doctor when you can manage to get an appointment. It is extremely difficult to get through to the office. Even if you go there in person, the office is only opened Monday and Tuesday and is closed during lunch hour.

Nobody answers the phone because it is always on a recorded message. Therefore it is only possible to get an appointment if you physically visit the office. Very frustrating.

Dr. Cook and his wonderful staff are amazing, kind, considerate and very helpful. He takes time to listen to his patients and explains in great detail. So happy to have him as our new Doctor.
