I was directed to Dr Ng when my doctor retired back at the old location. I was beginning to struggle with chest pain. I kept insisting something was wrong but Ng never did anything about it. Sure, he might be "nice" and "answer questions", but when something is legitimately wrong with you he will send you in circles. He told me that my ribs clicking in and out is normal and "that's how you breathe". 8 years later I'm getting a new family doctor because I left that room more distraught and hopeless than relieved. If you're a healthy individual with no health risks, he's a good doctor. If you have medical conditions, including mental illness, find someone else. All else, the clinic itself is great. The nurses are helpful and positive, the receptionists are prompt.

He is a horrible doctor. He becomes rude when you disagree with him. Changes topics while trying to prove your point. He gives people a harsh time when they don't want a flu shot from him.

Dr. Ng treats both my husband and me. We have never had such a caring thoughtful doctor. He is extremely thorough and listens carefully to every symptom to try and find answers for each problem. He takes great pride in his work and is a true scientist relying on the newest research to help us. We are in our seventies and feel so fortunate to be cared for by Dr Matthew Ng.

I find Dr. NG to be very caring and thorough. My mother, who's in her 90's, has been seeing him for a few years now. He is always patient, respectful and considerate. We never feel rushed and feel she gets excellent care.

I understand why other reviewers say he's too fast, but all doctors today are too fast. I find him extremely patient and willing to answer as many questions as I have, but it's important to ask. If the doc doesn't answer in a satisfactory manner, keep asking. Doctors are not mind readers, so be firm. Also, if you have multiple topics, tell the receptionist / scheduler so they know to allow extra time. He's always on time because he doesn't doddle. I wish more doctors had such policies, and he explained that to me during my first visit. He doesn't waste my time, so I don't waste his.
