I write this out of concern. I've been going to see Dr. Awobum for a little over a year now. And when you can get her to slow down and talk with you, she is a great, knowledgeable doctor. However, the issue is her staff. Every time I go there, they do not seem to have a firm understanding of how to deal with the needs of her many, many patients. Regardless, I am concerned because it seems to me that that her office is going to make a mistake that could hurt someone or even possibly be fatal. The gross incompetence of her staff if really something to behold. And I hate writing stuff like this. I'm not a petty person and every experience is different, but there seems to be something wrong with the way this office is run. They seem to lean more on the "hell" in less on the "care" in Health Care. Its a real mess there. I hope she gets this sorted out before someone gets hurt.

They are frequently running late, but until recently I believe that they were the only clinic in town. Dr. Awobem is wonderful, she takes time to listen and explain things and I never feel that she is rushing through the appointment.

Dr. Awobem is petrified of prescribing Opiates. She needs guidance when this is an issue and it is very annoying to have all the focus on her repeatedly educating the patient about the rules. She uses up too much time explaining herself.

This office is terrible. my daughter had the flu and i just spent an entire day just trying to call them to make an appointment. We ended up just not taking her to a doctor after all :( There are multiple doctors (6+) in this clinic. Maybe that is why they can't handle the call volume. A receptionist once booked my daughter an appointment while clearly not at her computer. She came back to the phone and told me the wrong time and then marked my daughter's name down incorrectly so that when i showed up, they denied that I had an appointment. then when they figured out they got the name wrong they accused me multiple times of being late. When we booked this appointment the receptionist actually HUNG UP on me because she was frustrated I was unable to take the first and second appointments that she offered. She sighed loudly when I said I was unavailable. When she came back with the third time, I said that date and time was fine and thanked her and she just hung up on me! Awobem is friendly enough. I was in severe and chronic pain for quite a long time and she kept insisting it was only muscular and didn't seem too interested in pursuing it. I ended up paying out of pocket for an MRI over the border to finally get my diagnosis.

Moved to Fort Erie recently Dr. Awobem became my new doctor and I find her very courteous,caring and most importantly , thorough. I could not have found a better doctor.

Overall worst doctor I have ever had to deal with in my entire life. SO unprofessional and untrained staff. Very unorganized and just a bad atmosphere.

It is very difficult to make an appointment, called every hour more than once an hour to try to get through the busy line, and finally got somewhere at 5, nobody answers. This has been an ongoing problem whenever I try to make an appointment it takes me 2 days or more to get my call through.

She became my family doctor as my previous doctor retired. I cannot say enough about her. Very thorough and is very up to date on current practices. Any concern I had she addressed without hesitation. Having a good family doctor is vital to maintain health. I am so happy she is my new doctor.

Dr. Awobem listens to her patients. She is pleasant as well as knowledgeable. My mother and I are very glad to have met her and are grateful that she is our doctor. The office staff are pleasant and efficient. We feel comfortable and confident under Dr. Awobems' care.

A couple of our family memmbers have had issues getting paperwork done properly, as well as renewals on prescriptions and had to go in to get corrections done; which is a bit of a pain when you have to pay to park. The hours are bad for those who work during the day. Hopefully once we are with this clinic longer we won't have anymore issues.

I gave a very poor rating of this Dr and clinic....obviously, only positive ratings are shown...this is a scam! It doesn't show the public what is really going on at that clinic Clinic is supposed to provide prescriptions within 48 hrs....at 72 hrs, clinic still hadn't faxed my prescription to my pharmacy, and my pharmacy sent 3 faxes over a 3 day period! The medical office said they did not receive the request from my pharmacy(a load of crap!) I did not like Dr. Awobem's manner or attitude. She would not even take 30 seconds to write a prescription, when I was there for a scheduled appt. If the office is unable to provide prescriptions via the patient first contacting the pharmacy and having the pharmacy fax the medical facility(as stated above), can't do so in the 48 hrs they promise...then they should review there office procedure. I have placed a complaint to the Ontario board of College of Physicians in regards to this issue!

I started seeing Dr Awobem in March and right away we "clicked". She understood where I was in my health and immediately change scripts and sent out a referral. I now have a better quality of life with a small change that I needed many yrs ago. So glad she welcomed me into her practice :)
