Poor attitude, manners and total lack of knowledge. A danger to people dealing with crohns or IBS. (sorry, we were informed from him that he does not believe in such a thing as IBS)

I saw Dr. Chiba for a mass on the pancreas. Procedures needed to be done, and he showed me the exact methods and what to expect. Further testing is necesary, and he carefully explained the next step, and organized referrals to McMaster hospital. I found him knowledgeable, and he did not hesitate to recommend me to someone with more expertise.

He may be a very smart man but I have never found him to be careing or understanding towards my condition. In my opinion as a women I think he talks down to me and makes me feel like I don't know my own body. As well he always makes comments on my weight as being my issue. I am not a large women but am over weight a little but he never fails to point out that I am overweight. I am looking for someone new but have found no one in my area I would have to travel to Mississauga.
