Absolutely outstanding. I was run over by a truck and my pelvis was crushed. Somehow Dr Kwok managed to reassemble the pieces and rebuild a totally functional pelvis, which is only a tiny bit lopsided. That I can walk again would be considered a miracle, but I can also (5 years after the surgery) do 200 lb on the leg press machine at the gym. Totally amazing.

…with spinal surgery at hours away, Dr. Kwoks stand alone prognosis to forgo a high risk spinal surgery for spinal compression was correct. Inasmuch as I was beginning to recovery prior to surgery Dr. Kwok's position to wait and see how much I would recover without surgery proved to be great advice. Ironically, it was not the prevailing opinion of other surgeons at the time, but it was logical. The surgery should be a very last approach but only if spinal compression continued… I am now in my third week of rehab, walking with a cane and without a cane often..et al. I am sincerely grateful to Dr. Kwok for his advice/role for me, the patient. Such knowledge and experience is priceless and Dr. Kwok's compassion for his patients is unparalleled. Canada is so fortunate to have Dr. Kwok as one of the premier spinal surgeons. My heartfelt thank you to Dr. Kwok.

Thank goodness I was referred to doctor Kwok in the emergency. I had progressively been experiencing symptoms which impaired several parts of my body including their balance. Several trips to my family doc and physio sessions nothing was getting better,Actually, worse. I went into merge for the third time and the er doc that night mad a call up to ortho, with their knowledge and an assessment Dr. Kwok was consulted and I was admitted that night. Thank goodness, I may have been paralyzed completely. if he hadnt preformed surgery. Great bedside manner very funny and his staff was wonderful.

Dr Kwok is a true professional. I have complex injuries as a result of a car accident. Dr Kwok has calmly been the voice of reason,and elected to proceed with a conservative non-surgical approach. I am healing very well under his care.

Ive had two previous lower back surgeries, and have now undergone a third this April of 2013. I highly recommend Dr. Kwok. He is one of the most knowledgeable, skilled, caring and approachable surgeons in his profession, that I've ever had the good fortune of having fix mt back. Thank you and all your staff for your prompt and professional friendly service. You all gave me my life back. I am forever grateful.

Just had my third back surgery,second revision in a year and was the best experience of the three surgery.Dr Kwok explained in detail what he had done and made me feel the he really cared about the surgery he performed and the outcome he expects.Not many surgeons like to go in and fix another surgeons work, but Dr Kwok had no problem in doing this and giving me a chance to finally live a pain free life.Thank-you Dr Kwok for giving me hoe and treating me as a person not just another regular routine.Michael Fennell

I was in a car accident in 1991, only 16 years old, and fractured and dislocated C2. After halo traction he determined that it was necessary to have C1C2 fusion. I couldn't have asked for a better surgeon. He had a great sense of humor which made what I was going through bearable. He was kind and caring, and now over 20 years post surgery, I am very happy to say that I have had no complications, no pain, and have been leading a very active lifestyle. Thank you Dr. Kwok! Although it was a very painfull time in my life, I have always been so thankful for what he did for me, and how kind and caring he was. Thank-you Dr. Kwok! Janet

Great surgeon. Repaired my wife's broken neck preventing her from becoming a quadrapalegic. Great bed side manner. Very compassionate and passionate about correcting the shortcomings in the health care system.

My son was in a car accident with a broken neck almost a quad, he gave him the ability to walk and relive his life mind you he will never be the same but he is walking and moving his arms for that i can't thank him and his team enough ty

One of the best bone doctors on the planet. If you ever get into an accident, this is the guy you want operating on you. Very knowledgeable, direct and to the point. Has a very good sense of humour with a funny, dry wit. Dr. Kwok and his team repaired my mangled spine in 2009 and allowed me to walk again. Hamilton Health Services are the best! Rob AC
