In my opinion, Dr. Marcaccio is not quite the superstar as many would believe. A few years ago he removed my gallbladder laprascopically and left in a catheter and a couple of clips. It wasn't until the following year when I had an unrelated Xray taken and I received this unwelcomed surprise. It was suggested that it would be better if I left these 'articles" where they are, as the surgery to remove them would be more invasive as it is close to the liver. I live with discomfort an concern every day due to low grade pain in my side. I just hope that my future health is not jeopardized by this entire event.

Dr. Marcaccio saved my life pure and simple.I had a pancreatic pseudocyst burst and if he hadn't been there when I arrived by ambulance,I never would have made it. More recently my elderly father needa gallstone removed.He performed the task via an oral scope procedure and removed it in mere minutes. Thank you Dr. Marcaccio,you are indeed a Godsend.

Excellent surgeon. Extremely knowledgeable, and personable. Very patient -explains everything, doesn't rush appointments. Follows up and promptly returns calls.
