This doctor is so thorough, caring. He really is a great gentleman. He always seems so genuinely concerned and very helpful. You never, ever feel rushed. Very kind and polite man. One of the best doctors I have ever dealt with.

I have a chronic iron deficiency that I have been dealing with for over a year now. In the summer and fall of 2016, I went to Dr. Morarlu so many times telling him that I was not feeling well due to fatigue from the iron. I asked him if he could refer to a blood specialist so that this issue could be further addressed. He refused and told me to work it out on my own through diet and supplements. I tried that for months to no avail. I went back to him and again reported my fatigue issues. Only then did he finally agree to refer me to a hematologist. He recommended that I go back on the birth control pill. When I reminded him that I was on the pill for six years he dismissed me by saying "oh yeah, you mentioned that." Another day the first thing he said to me was "You don't have a partner do you?" I am a long distance runner and I train with a local running club. When it came up in conversation that I run; he was very negative and unsupportive of my running. The only thing he said was "don't run! Just don't do it!" I have talked to all of my coaches and running friends and everyone can't understand why he would be so incredibly negative about a physical activity that has been so positive for my life. Due to the fact that Dr. Morarlu refused to refer to a hematologist to address my iron deficiency; this most certainly made 2016 an extremely difficult and challenging for me. What a shame that he refused to be more helpful. It would have a difference if he would have been proactive on the subject. Thanks for nothing Morarlu!!!!!
