Dr. Alter is the best Doctor my family has ever had. We have moved up to Orillia now but would not consider changing doctors. Like the saying goes it's worth the drive to see him. He has been the most caring and compassionate doctor we have ever known.

Dr. Alter is a terrific doctor, one of the best GPs around. He was my doctor in Toronto and we stayed with him when he moved to Keswick because it is so hard to find a decent physician. Unfortunately, his practice suffers due to his poor staff, who are rude and have no regard for patients, and the wait time has made it impossible for me to continue there. If you schedule an appointment here, do not be surprised if you are waiting 4+ hours.

He has been my doctor since I moved up to Keswick 10 years ago and I am now finally switching to a new female doctor. HI have had to wait a minimum of 1-3 hours EVERY time I go! His staff are rude and he is more interested in "trying" to use his ancient computer then talking to you. He is very judgemental and has no humility or compassion. I will not miss him at all. Do yourself a favour and find someone who cares.

I find the doctor himself very approachable however I don't appreciate the hour and half you have to wait everytime. I find his staff very distracted and not very helpful. Presriptions require a new visit every three months and I just don't have the time. Great doctor but I feel I have lost in the shuffle!
