What a fabulous doctor. She has treated my adult son with the highest level of respect. She takes the time to understand him (he is intellectually challenged) and even so she is so generous with her time and truly listens to him as well as me (his father). Life before her was one of absolute misery with numerous seizures per day and he has gone now 1 year 8 months without one. She has made our lives (the whole household) a nice place to enjoy life without the fear of a tonic clonic seisure.

I have found Dr. Spiller to be a very nice neurologist to work with over the years! She assesses thoroughly yet she is still timely and listens to you. An expert! She has always been patient and kind. Epilepsy management can cause a lot of anxiety especially with driving but she's been great at helping me deal with issues from the MTO, and ensuring my medications at the right dose. I had to move out of the area but I still keep her as my neurologist because she's so terrific. The appointment system at KGH is brutal though, they cancelled and rescheduled my appointment with her but I didn't get the letter in the mail - they sent it to the wrong appt #, so I had to wait months to see her again and I got attitude from the staff that it was my fault. I was very disappointed with this; I do not want to be a no-show for my doctor, I'm sure this situation frustrates her, I suspect I'm not the only one as this has been their system for years to mail out appointment notices rather than call. Make sure you call ahead if you live out of town to confirm your appointment!

TOLD MY SON WHO IS 20 AND HAS BEEN HAVING TONIC CLONIC SEIZERS SINCE 17 AND IS ON DILANTON AND EPIVAL HE WAS HAVING FAINTING SPELLS ALSO DIDN'T LISTEN TO HIM OR SPEAK TO HIM SHE SPOKE ABOVE HIM AND TREATED HIM LIKE A CHILD. NOT IMPRESSED VERY COLD AND IMPERSONAL
