He fixed my groin hernia in 2011. But my testicle began swelling right after the surgery. He just ignored my problem when I brought it to his attention in a postoperative appointment.

I had Hernia surgery yesterday, went perfect, very little pain, I received plenty of information before and after surgery from everyone. I had a gall bladder removed 2 years ago by Dr.Paun, barely new he did anything. Great work!

Dr. Paun did a great job on my hernia, I have no issues with him. My experience with contacting his office has been well below anything level I have ever experienced. He really needs more help in this area.

Dr. Paun removed my gallbladder and repaired a minor hernia. I found him to be personable, an excellent listener and in every sense a true professional. The incisions were so small that after 2 weeks they were hardly noticable.

Dr. Paun removed my gallbladder last week, and did an amazing job! I cant believe how small the incisions are! Im so glad I had him as my surgeon. I was previously referred to another surgeon, but after meeting him I did not want him to operate on me. I knew right away I would be in good hands when I met Dr.Paun. A great surgeon, I would recommend him for sure!! Thanks Dr.Paun!!!

Dr. Paun sits down looks you in the eye and carefully explains your condition and what can be done to help you. He takes time to answer all your questions. His nurse Kathleen is so compassionate.

I had an umbilical hernia repair, and I was not at all not prepared for this surgery. I was told I'd be fine in about 2 days,and I am not! After surgery, I was given 2 days worth of painkillers, and sent home.The nurse at the hospital suggested that when the pills run out, I could try Extra Strength Tylenol. The hospital nurses were otherwise very nice, and were only lacking in their discharge procedures, i.e. how to take care of yourself, your wound, what to watch out for, when you can shower, phone numbers to call, extra bandages and gauze, etc. Dr Paun's bedside manner is somewhat reserved, although, always polite, and, I suspect that reservation is mostly due to his busy schedule. His nurses/assistants are an absolute dream; friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help. I must say, I felt quite stupid having waited so long to call them. Really just an issue with St. Mary's discharge practices, more so than with Dr. Paun's.
