Dr. Dundon is kind and gentle but his knowledge is outdated and approach is paternalistic. Doesn't seem like he takes his patients self-knowledge seriously. His new knowledge comes from pharma reps so his first line of defence seems to be a prescription for everything with very little dialogue or discernment. He is effective with manual interventions like lancing and checking tonsils but is out of his depth on any complex issues. He often seems befuddled about where to on something he has no knowledge about and has a weak referral network. His communication style doesn't inspire confidence and he has made errors on prescriptions for me twice (once the wrong dosage caught by pharmacist and once the wrong last name after being his patient for 10 years!)
