I can never ever phone in to make an appointment.I have to drive into town to make an appointment. Shelly never answers the phone. Its always a busy signal and when you are there for an appointment, she is never on the phone so why is it always busy. She has a rude attitude too. And don't have more than one problem. He doesn't like dealing with more than one per visit. Dr Helt is very suborn to. Only his way of thinking. I had to go to a specialist to find out i had Sleep Apnea. I told him in 5 min's what i'd been telling Dr Helt for 2 years and the specialist knew right away what was wrong with me. And he was a lung specialist. I don't recommend him.

Unable to reach or make appointment by phone EVER - Elderly patients can not drive or arrange transportation just to make an appointment - only doctor's office I know of that will not return phone call - very frustrating and unprofessional

Staff has improved but was once horrible Dr Helt is very unconcerned about helping my 90 year old Mother and in my opinion feels she is not worthy of the best care available just because she is elderly..very very frustrating glad he is good at delivering babies..

Best doctor ever! Highly recommended! He delivered 2 of my 4 kids and was by far the best doctor I have delivered with! Very calm, caring & professional. Pays attention to all the small details leading up to delivery and makes delivery a great experience. His friendly, calm, caring personality is very reassuring in the delivery room! His secretary Shelly is a wonderful person as well! She does a great job and is always pleasant to deal with even though she is very busy! Keep up the great work!

Great doctor, could not ask for any better! However would not recommend at all however due to the staff and secretary. Very unhelpful and at times rude.

The above remarks couldn't be said better, he also delivered 2 of my 3 children, he is an amazing Dr and person. If you can get by Shelly 's personality you are well on your way to great care.

Dr. Helt is an excellent doctor and takes the necessary time to get to know his patients. He has good training, keeps current in what he does, focuses on you when with you, gives professionally adequate time for your case, is very caring, is as thorough as professionally needed, is trustworthy, and is HELPFUL to you. He exhibits common sense, wisdom, and decisiveness, though being willing to admit to it when stumped. He is willing to direct you to second or other opinions or specialists if needed. He is known in the community for uprightness, trustworthiness and integrity. He is a great doctor and I would recommend him to anyone. I could not ask for a better family doctor.

Total trust in the opinions and care that I hav received from Dr. Helt in the 17 years that he has been my Doctor. He delievered 3 out of my 4 childen with wonderful care and professionalism. The best Doctor EVER!!
