I've been seeing Dr. Gilbert since 2001, and can say that he has been an excellent doctor to me. Though he has a very busy practice, juggling many patients at once--I wouldn't take a whole point off for punctuality, though, because this isn't a huge issue for me since I'm not usually in a hurry--I'm generally only kept waiting for 5-10 minutes. When he does see me, he focusses on my concerns, and is very sympathetic and genial, very reassuring and knowledgable. He has really helped me to manage a chronic illness of which I have seemingly finally gotten control. I'm grateful for his diligence and tireless commitment to my health, and for helping me feel good again. He has also been here for me since I got pregnant, and has been my daughter's GP since she was born 13 years ago. He has been a great doctor to her, as well as to my husband, for all these years. Overall, I would highly recommend Dr. Gilbert to anyone looking for a new doctor. If he's not taking new patients (or, on the rare occasion that he's not been in the office or unavailable for a last-minute appointment for me or my family), I can recommend all the doctors at Kelso Lake Medical for equally excellent healthcare service. It's a great clinic with kind, professional staff, and I'm happy that I'm a patient of Dr. Gilbert's.

Dr. Gilbert worked in a dedicated and determined way to help us try to find the source of an undiagnosed chronic illness. He never gabe up and was the BEST support person during this difficult journey!
