Dr. Varma is without reservation an amazing human being: genuinely warm- and kind- hearted, generous with his time, knowledge and compassion, and patiently, quietly and expertly dedicated to optimizing the health - and therefore standard of life - for all who are fortunate enough to be under his care. He saved my Father from going blind in both eyes because of the ill-managed development of his glaucoma. Dr. Varma was quick to diagnose and start effective treatment of glaucoma in both my Father's eyes, which included timely and successful surgery. All throughout this process, where the final outcome for my Father's vision was so uncertain, Dr. Varma demonstrated his breadth of ophthalmological training and practice by answering - with absolute clarity -the innumerable and detailed questions prepared by my family. Although youthful, Dr. Varma is an incomparably gifted ophthalmologist that we are all very lucky to have! Thank You Dr. Varma!!!

Excellent ophthalmologist, Dr. Varma fast tracked my surgery as my pressure in my eyes was very high, the results were better than expected, I would highly recommend him, Thanks Dr. Varma

Dr. Varma is excellent and most of his staff are fantastic. My wife had some serious complications that required a multitude of eye specialists, and Dr. Varma by far was the most compassionate, understanding and genuinely caring. He took the time to explain everything in detail and made sure we were comfortable with the course of action. I would highly recommend Dr. Varma. He has been a life saver for our family and we forever indebted to him. Thanks Dr. V!

Dr. Varma is fantastic. My had some serious complications that required multiple eye specialists, and Dr. Varma was by far the most caring, comforting an genuine. He was extremely patient and helpful and guided as through the complicated surgeries and options. Even though there were always a long line of people waiting to see him, Dr. Varma took his time with us and made us feel at ease. I would highly recommend him to anyone with serious eye issues.

The Doctor may know what's going on, but the clinic is brutal to deal with. They don't answer the phone, calls when answered get disconnected and the waiting times when you get an appointment are crazy long. Even after 4 tests, which were not covered by OHIP, the clinic did not call to schedule surgery, I still can't get through to the clinic...I now have to spend time to actually visit the clinic just to see what's going on...what type of service is that?! BRUTAL

hey doctor varma i find your very helpful and you help my mother. however i find that your clinic manager is very rude to your staff and totally degraded her in front of several patients waiting. i can see your staff is very miserable but i dont blame them for feeling this way especially working for someone like that.
