I have read some other reviews were people said they felt the appointments are rushed.. but then high marks for being punctual. She does speak fast but i found very open to discussions and explanations. Great doctor!

Dr. Kristina Dervaitis performed a biopsy and hysterectomy... she was efficient, knowledgeable, & caring. She is up to date on medical procedures, a professional and positive. Maybe a bit quick... but at the end of the day, when dealing with health issues, she's everything you'd want a Dr. to be!

I would agree that my appointments with Dr. Dervaitis seemed rushed all the time. When I was pregnant with our first child, I swore I wouldn't have her again as my OB if we had any more children. However, our first child decided to come early - two months early - my husband and I agree that we would not have wanted anyone else treating us. She knows her stuff...and the nursing staff follow her lead. This was extremely comforting since I was 'enjoying' the epidural and was trying not to freak out about having a preemie! Needless to say, she was my OB for our second child too!

Dr Dervaitis may seem like she rushes you but when it comes down to it she is a very caring and genuine person. After a death in the family she took the time to console and talk to me during my appointment. I would definitely recommend Dr Dervaitis as an OB in the Aurora/Newmarket area.

Dr. Dervaitis was my OB for my first child. At first I thought she rushed me too much in my regular appointments as it was my first pregnancy I had lots of questions. But in the end my blood pressure went up and she sprang into action. She was on call and induced and delivered my son and was fabulous in the hospital. I was very pleased with her as my doctor. Would go to her again.
