Was not impressed with initial visit, and I feel there is still alot of misinformation coming from Endo's, however one recommendation Dr. Juta made re: replacing low carb/high fibre cereal with eggs, bacon etc did have a very positive impact on sugars.

Dr. Juta has been a very knowledgeable endo dr., on the visits so far he has been doing his best to control my diabetes. His advice and juggling of my medication for other problems with diabetes is starting to show some positive results.

Probably one of the nicest and personable specialists that I have seen in my life. Having had been diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes over 30 years ago, I have seen my fair share, and with no disrespect intended, Dr. Juta is one of the best. His staff is very accommodating and willing to assist wherever possible! Since being under his care I have had my A1C levels consistently the lowest that they have ever been, and between him and the team at Southlake, we continually talk about ways to ensure that complications are avoided.

Dr. Juta is excellent. You may wait a long time to see him while your there because he is very busy and in great demand! He skips lunch to help this along, though. He is very knowledgeable and kind. His secretary is good.
