I too feel my family was lucky to have been referred to Dr. Marotta. His strong knowledge in the latest medications and treatments for Alzheimer contributed to being able to keep my mom at home for 8 years before the Alzheimer progressed to the point where it was no longer safe for her to remain at home. Dr. Marotta is a very caring doctor and understands from experience what families face on a daily basis trying to care for a family member with Alzheimer. Even after a year of my mom being under the care of the nursing home physician Dr. Marotta was willing to see my mom and family to provide his opinion on the progression of my mom's Alzheimer. I respect him for his care and for giving us hope but not false hope.

I have found Dr Marotta to be incredibly respectful, kind and sensitive to my mother and the issues related to altzheimer. He is honest and has a gentle / caring approach that provides hope and the importance of enjoying what you have today. Dr Marotta carefully discusses all treatment options and their benefits and limitations. Having worked in health care for 40 years he stands out as a physician with an incredible bed side manner. We were luckey to be referred to him.

Dr. Marotta worked miracles in gaining the trust of my cynical and clinically depressed Italian Mother in Law He is highly empathetic, and extremely knowledgeable regarding the issues and needs of geriatric patients. He is Italian, speaks Italian and understands the Italian culture and blocks to maintaining health. I almost cried with relief when we met him at a recent appointment.
