Being in the health car field myself, I suspect the longer comment below was a bicep tear and typically not repaired for the majority of people. I have found Dr. Mirander to be caring, knowledgeable and attentive. He takes time to assure his patients understand the situation to the best of their ability and are on board with the care plan. I consider my family and I blessed to be under his care.

If you need a family doctor that you can rely on for more than a common cold, suggest you run away as fast as you can. He's never prepared for your visit and you always have to tell him why you're there. God forbid you might have something seriously wrong with you like a torn muscle (like I did). Should I go to the emergency room? No, I will get you to the surgeon and have it taken care of. After repeated follow ups with the incompetent office staff I finally had an appointment 7 months later! The surgeon won't even look at it, as that procedure needs to be done within 4 weeks of the injury. This is just one occurrence of many. I recently felt the self satisfaction of firing him and his office and have moved to a doctor that genuinely cares about my well being
